Telephone Conferencing
The Voice4IP Conferencing platform is a large conference bridge offering business users all the industry standard conference features. There is no ongoing subscription cost to the service, callers merely pay to access the platform on a per minute basis plus their normal call costs.
Conferencing is accessed via the web portal allowing the conference to be set up and configured and participants to be notified of the details by e-mail in advance. The portal also allows active management of the conference including joining or taking off conference members and muting or unmuting callers.
Each conference can be individually configured. A general purpose conference may allow anyone to join with no chairperson restriction or conference recording. A board meeting conference would perhaps be configured with music on hold until the chairperson arrives and recorded for later retrieval and distribution. A company-wide staff presentation conference could be configured with a single talker and other users able to listen only.
Callers dial the system from either a fixed-line or mobile phone and are directed to the correct conference based on the room number and PIN number they supply. Multiple conferences can take place at the same time in separate rooms and will not interfere with each other. Callers may exit the conference at any time by hanging up their phone and can re-enter the conference again by dialling to re-enter as normal.
Access numbers to the conferencing system can be selected by the client and include non-geographic numbers.
